Attributed to Jack Wherra. L: 84 cm; W: 19.5 cm; D: 8 cm. Jack Wherra is widely recognised for his intricately carved boab nuts produced during his incarceration in Derby jail. Following his release in 1968, he resided at Mowanjum Reserve, where he continued carving and expanded his practice to include larger works such as shields and coolamons.
