Colonial Australian Emu Egg on Sterling Silver Stand.
Attributed to John Wilby. Mid to late 19th Century, with a fluted base having applied foliate scrolls and a central ball-shaped finial. In sterling silver. Hallmarks are very worn; possibly emu, possibly stamped "FREMANTLE" and stamped with modern sterling silver mark. H: 22.0 cm. With a domed glass bell case and wooden stand.
